Qliner Software Wishlist
Planned changes for Qliner PDA and Qliner Review software

The following list is created from requests by users of the Qliner. We strive to implement as much as possible in the next release of the software. Please feel free to contact us if you think something should be added to the list.

Qliner on PDA:
  • Show filename of reviewed file in overview page.
  • Start a new measurement with same settings and same site (Site001, Site002) name by a single press of a button.
  • Add a 'Done' button to clearly mark the end of a measurement.
  • Name on dropdown box sometimes does not change after selecting different site.
  • Change position of vertical in review mode.
  • Manually enter a depth, and then discard the depth measurement.
  • Show 'Notes' when reviewing
  • Show vertical and accumulated total Q up till that vertical and at the end when distance to end is surely done - lock the measurement result.
  • In the top of the ipaq display, when looking at data the correct filename for that measurement needs to show. (Now you see the last datafile in the explorer.)
  • Convert to txt: It should be possible to select multiple files.
  • File -> Open: The program should remember what your last folder was.
Qliner Review for Windows:
  • Review raw verticals
  • Export to Excel
  • Export to 'Biber' compatible XML data
  • Add tool to find best fitting powerlaw curve through all verticals
  • Overlay two measurements for comparison.
  • Backup original data when editing !
