Qmetrix specializes in integrated systems for measuring water velocity and flow in rivers, lakes, streams, canals, harbors, estuaries, outfalls and laboratories, all based on the proven doppler technology from Nortek AS.

Discharge measurements Using specially designed doppler velocimeters and some advanced processing techniques Qmetrix offers two systems that measure exactly how much water is flowing through a river or channel. Systems like the EasyQ for monitoring local discharge over a longer period, or the high accuracy, portable Qliner system for in-situ measurements.

System integration Although a lot is possible using different types of doppler velocimeters, the instrument itself does not always exactly meet your requirements. Based on our rich experience we can offer complete systems, including telemetry, data logging, additional sensors or even complete measurement buoys.

Software As part of the an integrated system, or to visualize or process the data, Qmetrix can supply custom made or adapted software for Windows, Windows CE or MatLab.
